New Features of Rooster Monitor100 Benefit Critical Containment Applications
Degree Controls listens to our users when they tell us what they need, and we’re always working to improve our products. We are pleased to announce the rollout of new features for the Rooster™ Monitor100 airflow monitoring and alarm system. Key new features to benefit your critical containment applications include:

  • Event data logging with USB export
  • Configurable alarm tones
  • User's preferences can be uploaded/downloaded via USB

Rooster™ Airflow Alarm & Monitor Platform - V1.04 New Feature Rollout

Data and event logging addresses protocols where users need to show that they’re in compliance. The event log can be viewed on-screen and also exported to a USB drive in standard file format for compliance record keeping.

The ability to modify alarm tones, per alarm, gives users more information instantly and makes alarming tolerable in select environments where loud sounds cause discomfort.

The Rooster™ configuration file can be downloaded to a USB thumb drive for future use and also uploaded to other Monitor100s in your facility. The capacity to save and recall chosen settings saves valuable setup time and ensures operational consistency.

As current users know, you can firmware upgrade your Rooster™ via USB to stay up to date and take advantage of these new feature benefits.

Note: A Rooster™ with firmware preceding version 1.04 may be upgraded to version 1.04, however, existing calibration data of the chemical fume hood will be lost, and all settings will be reset to factory defaults. As a result, this update should be done during annual certification, where the certifier would be recalibrating anyway, OR, if the client approves forcing a recalibration.

DegreeC will be demonstrating a complete line of Air Velocity Sensors at Semi-Therm this year. These are ideal for the semiconductor industry because they are high-performance and solderable and allow for the measurement of air velocity, temperature, humidity and pressure at a single point or at multiple points. Come see us in BOOTH #105 and learn about our research-grade USB sensing and multi-point data acquisition instruments that give you the ability to view data in real-time, perform data logging, and produce reports with charts that can be output as a spreadsheet or other file formats li
